Bosch Car Service in Belgium becomes a partner of SereniMax, which launches a suite of services to insure, reassure and secure the sale of used cars between individuals. Bosch Car Service will carry out the pre-purchase inspection so that the buyer can make sure that the car has no hidden technical problems.

Unfortunately, there are still many issues & problems when buying or sell- ing a used car, especially between individuals. SereniMax wants to offer the buyer and the seller a long-term solution, minimizing the risks at each stage of the transaction. The SereniMax platform is a world première in the used car market

says Alex Gaschard, founder of SereniMax

« With Bosch Car Service, we are committed to making an in-depth diagnostic of the car for sale. As an independent network, we have the advantage that our garages have an in-depth knowledge of all brands and have the necessary equipment in their workshops » adds Jean-Pierre Van Damme, Sales Belgium Bosch Car Service.

SereniMax, security and peace of mind

Both buyers and sellers are in demand of a durable solution limiting as much as possible the risks related to each stage of the transaction. How does this translate concretely?

  • A strict control of the credentials of the buyer, as well as the data appearing on the registration certificate of the vehicle (chassis number, technical inspection, validity of the Car-Pass, etc.)
  • An insured test-drive: the seller can let the potential buyer try the vehicle in normal conditions, with peace of mind since AXA provides a comprehensive insurance coverage (damage, theft, embezzlement) throughout the duration of the test-drive
  • A thorough inspection of the vehicle: no bad surprises, the buyer can have the car fully checked at one of the 120 Bosch Car Service centres in Belgium
  • 12 to 24 months mechanical & breakdown warranty with Mapfre, similar to as if the vehicle had been sold by a professional vendor
  • The secure payment of the vehicle: no more payment scams, the financial transaction takes place through a secure payment app linked to an escrow account, much like it is the case with a notary when one buys a house

Bosch Car Service for the pre-purchase inspections

Bosch Car Service has developed a unique pre-purchase checklist specifically for SereniMax. The procedure is very simple:

  • Easy booking: the buyer himself or the seller registers on www.SereniMax.com to make an appointment and have the vehicle diagnosed in the Bosch Car Service garage of his choice
  • Basic or Extended controls: the buyer chooses between a Basic diagnostic, comprising the verification of 60 key points of the vehicle or an Extended diagnosis, comprising the verification of 125 key points of the vehicle. The full list of verification points is available on www.serenimax.com/en/pre-purchase-inspection/bosch
  • A comprehensive and fully independent report: after the diagnosis by a Bosch Car Service garage, the buyer will receive a report indicating whether the car is in order or if a repair is to be carried out.

« Thanks to the partnership between SereniMax and Bosch Car Service, the buyer of a used car can safely and with peace of mind make the purchase. Following the diagnosis made in one of our 120 garages, the buyer will know if the car runs smoothly or if repairs are necessary » concludes Jean-Pierre Van Damme.
